Rockstar wants devs with deep understanding of Fortnite ahead of GTA 6 Online

Rockstar Games is hiring developers with deep knowledge of platforms like Roblox and Fortnite for its Creator Platform team ahead of GTA 6 Online. New job listings suggest the studio is investing heavily in user-generated content and creator-driven experiences for the next chapter of Grand Theft Auto.

Rockstar Games is looking for people with deep understanding of games like Roblox and Fortnite as they're bolstering the Creator Platform team amid reports that Grand Theft Auto 6's user-generated content will make players rich.

Over the last few years, as expectations and excitement around GTA 6 have ramped up, fans have made plenty of wishlists of what they want to see in the multiplayer side of things.

With Grand Theft Auto RP becoming bigger than ever, and Rockstar even supporting the FiveM devs as part of their Creator Platform team, many fans want to see elements of that brought into the fold.

Well, as per a set of new job listings - which was highlighted by Rockstar Intel - the Grand Theft Auto devs are looking for people with backgrounds in the likes of Roblox, Fortnite, and even TikTok to help them on that front.

Rockstar hiring devs for Creator Platform team

According to one listing, which is for a Senior Manager in the Product team for the Creator Platform, the role focuses on building sustainable systems that empower creators to build experiences, attract players, and operate thriving communities.

Another, which is for a Strategy Research Associate, on the Creator Platform, Rockstar wants someone with a deep understanding of the landscape of Creator Platforms (Roblox, Fortnite, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok).

The Strategy Research Associate would also serve as a Creator Platform and GTA Roleplay subject matter expert to the wider Rockstar organization.

As Rockstar Intel notes, there's no telling how much of the work from these roles will make it into the online side of GTA 6.

These listings come after HipHopGamer stated that user-generated content in Grand Theft Auto 6 will make people into millionaires.

When it does come, especially on PC, if you thought GTA 5 was crazy, especially with the RP servers, and everything they're doing, you haven't seen nothing yet, he told PCGamer.

There have also been rumors that Rockstar will wait a month after GTA 6's launch before dropping the follow-up to GTA Online in GTA 5.

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick promised that the GTA 5 version of GTA Online will remain as long as players want to, well, play.
