New GTA 6 Report Shares Encouraging News About Release Date
A new report from the GTA 6 O'clock podcast suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6 is on track to meet its November 19, 2026 release date, with hosts expressing confidence that no further delays are expected.
A new report tied to Grand Theft Auto 6 has shared encouraging news about the game's release date. While GTA 6 was originally slated to launch in 2025, Rockstar Games delayed the project twice, pushing it to November 19, 2026. Despite this date holding firm, many fans remain nervous about another potential delay into 2027.
Speaking on the latest episode of the GTA 6 O'clock podcast, hosts James Jarvis and Dan Dawkins said they are now incredibly confident that GTA 6's current release date will be its final one. This belief was backed up by what the pair had heard about the project behind the scenes. While neither would commit to a 100% guarantee, they also are no longer fearing another delay from Rockstar.
If the November release date is essentially locked, it means fans will start seeing much more of the game in the near future. Take-Two Interactive previously stated that marketing for GTA 6 would begin at an unspecified time this summer. With summer approaching, new GTA 6 content could appear in mere weeks.
Whenever Rockstar chooses to break its ongoing silence, the gaming world will almost certainly get a look at actual gameplay footage. While previous trailers showed quite a bit, gameplay footage has yet to be provided by Rockstar. This remains the biggest thing fans want to see and will likely become the main focus leading up to launch.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC version has not been announced yet but is presumed to arrive in the months or years after the console editions.
