GTA 6 Online Launch Month Leaks, Days Are Numbered For GTA Online
Insider claims GTA VI Online will launch within a month of the main game's release on November 19, 2026. Pre-orders may open in May.
Grand Theft Auto VI remains on track to launch this year. On 19 November, millions of players across the world will be able to jump into all of the delights that Vice City has to offer. It's expected that Rockstar Games will ramp up GTA VI's marketing in the coming months, with many speculating that pre-orders will open in May to coincide with Take-Two Interactive's next earnings call.
While a PC port is in development, Rockstar is yet to indicate when it may arrive, nor has the acclaimed studio said much about GTA VI's inevitable online mode. Insider TheGhostofHope claims that GTA VI's online mode will launch within a month of the single-player release date on 19 November — meaning a successor to GTA Online launching on or before 19 December 2026.
This wouldn't be a total surprise. GTA V launched in September 2013 with GTA Online landing in October 2013, just one month later. However, the leak should be taken with a hefty pinch of salt — TheGhostofHope is usually concerned with the Call of Duty franchise, though they have been accurate in the past. If true, it would be another disappointment for PC gamers who won't be able to experience the new GTA immediately.
