GTA 6 Just Got More Expensive in Southeast Asia as Sony Hikes PS5 Prices

Sony has announced PlayStation 5 price increases across six Southeast Asian markets effective May 1, 2026, raising the cost of entry for millions of potential GTA 6 players in the region.

Sony has confirmed a new wave of PlayStation 5 price increases across six Southeast Asian markets — Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam — with the new pricing taking effect on May 1, 2026. Part 3

This is the second major wave of price increases from Sony this year. Identical hikes took effect in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan on April 2, 2026. South Korea, India, Brazil, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa are the only territories left unaffected — but not for long.
