FAQ: Star Citizen Lead Says Squadron 42's 2026 Plan Has to Watch GTA 6

Did Chris Roberts confirm a Squadron 42 delay because of GTA 6?

No. TheGamer reports that Roberts still described the plan as an end-of-2026 target, but said the team cannot fully guarantee it because GTA 6 is a major industry release to watch.

Why is this relevant to GTA 6?

It shows that GTA 6's November 19, 2026 launch window is affecting release-window discussions at other major studios, not just fan speculation.

Is this a new GTA 6 trailer or preorder update?

No. This is an industry-impact story: another developer is openly factoring Rockstar's launch into timing decisions.
